With sharp edges and striking lines, the new Audi A6 is elegant and sporty in design, while the interior is a combination of cutting-edge technology and unmistakable sophistication.
From the widened singleframe grille, to the side air intakes with sporty chrome trims, to the narrow headlights – the front of the new A6 is striking. The sharpened shoulder line with strong curves above the wheel arches accentuates the quattro inheritance, while the roof line flows elegantly into the rear of the car in a coupé-like style.
Dynamic indicators use smart technology to improve the functionality of turn indicators by sending clearer signals than conventional turn signals.
Matrix LED headlights produce a light similar in colour to daylight. They incorporate sensors and an inbuilt camera that detects other road users, as well as ambient light in built-up areas. They then react by dipping individual LEDs to reduce the risk of dazzling other road users, while still fully illuminating the remainder of the road.
The ambient lighting helps to accentuate the interior of the new A6. Precise contour lighting highlights the instrument panel, central console and striking design features in 30 different colour tones.
The high-resolution 10.1-inch and 8.6-inch MMI screens fit seamlessly into the elegant instrument panel and feature haptic touch response. With haptic touch, users hear and feel a click as confirmation once their finger triggers a function. On the top screen the driver controls all infotainment and navigation features, while on the lower screen the range of assistance systems and comfort functions can be controlled.

A combination of sensors, cameras and algorithms detects and assesses your surroundings and assists when needed. From the Audi pre sense front and rear to the lane change assistant including exit warnings and rear cross traffic alert, the level of intelligence in the A6 sets new standards in the luxury class.
Audi pre sense front utilize the data of radar sensors and/or the front camera, to compute the probability of a rear-end collision with other vehicles or pedestrians. Starting with the new Audi A8, the system can also detect cyclists. It warns of collision threats and initiates braking within system limits and at specific vehicle speeds. If a collision is imminent, the system warns the driver with visual, acoustic and haptic warnings. If necessary, the system provides braking assistance to reduce vehicle speed or initiates a full brake application to avoid the collision under certain circumstances. In addition, actions are taken to protect occupants. The hazard warning lights are activated, the seat belts are pre-tensioned reversibly, the seat position is optimized, and the windows and panoramic glass sunroof are closed.
The drive of the new A6 is noticeably sporty due to the innovative suspension. Dynamic all-wheel steering makes the A6 more agile and responsive. All engines come with Audi’s new mild-hybrid technology with a stop-start functionality that can switch off the engine from a speed as low as 22km/h before a stop phase, helping to reduce fuel consumption.
Creating innovations with vision. With a forward-looking operating system and a wide range of driver assistance systems. For more safety. Enhanced comfort. And for new standards in the luxury class. That is our aspiration. That is our passion. That is the eighth-generation Audi A6.
